The bulb is designed for original xenon headlights that require D3S bulbs (xenon headlights with lens). It does not require any modifications in the installation. It features a perfectly set focal point and a voltage connector characteristic of the D3S bulb. It can only be used with a D3S xenon ballast. These bulbs have an integrated ignitor.
