The igniter is designed for original xenon headlights requiring D4S bulbs (xenon headlights with lens). It requires no modifications in the installation. It has a perfectly set focal point and a voltage plug characteristic for D4S bulbs. It can only be used with a D4S xenon converter or another with a D2 adapter.
