Instructions:

- Connect the adapter to the USB or USB-C port in the car
- A message will appear on the car screen indicating which Bluetooth device to connect to
- Enable Bluetooth and WIFI on your phone and connect to the adapter
- Give consent for synchronization with the device

Key connection information for Android Auto:

- Phone with Android version 11 or newer
- wireless (Wireless) connection function to Android Auto enabled (this can be checked in the app settings on the phone)
- on the first connection in the car select connection to CarPlay (the device is recognized as such by the car's multimedia unit)

Additional options:
To access additional options of the device, you need to connect to the device's WIFI network (usually has the name of the car brand - the network password is "12345678"). From the access level to the device settings, you can for example:

- change the resolution of the displayed image
- turn on/off synchronization
- turn on/off GPS
- turn on/off Backstage Mode
- start delay, number of frames
- reset the device, update

In case of problems with operation, it is advisable to check the above settings, or reset the device to factory settings.
Carlinkit is supported by about 98% of multimedia units in cars where the CarPlay / Android Auto system is supported via cable. Note! The adapter does not add CarPlay / Android Auto functionality to a car that does not have this system. It only allows a wireless connection instead of wired in cars with CarPlay / Android Auto.
