DID YOU KNOW THAT The name Velociraptor means swift thief or swift raider. The origin of the name is linked to the fact that this dinosaur could very quickly chase its prey. Velociraptor belonged to the family of bird-like dinosaurs called Dromaeosauridae. Other representatives of the Dromaeosauridae include Deinonychus and Dromaeosaurus. Unlike other Dromaeosaurs, Velociraptor had a long, low skull with a very flat, upturned snout. Its jaws were equipped with a row of 60 to 80 razor-sharp teeth. Take a peek inside, you will find more interesting facts there. CONTENT: The kit includes a block of plaster in which dinosaur bones are hidden and tools for conducting excavations. After finding and cleaning all the bones, a complete skeleton can be assembled. The finished skeleton is about 21 centimeters long.
