In 1961, three prototypes of the Warszawa with a sedan body were constructed. Changes compared to previous versions have been limited to the rear part of the body and the roof structure. Two sofas covered with artificial leather and fabric provided high travel comfort, their padding was compressed seagrass and springs. From 1970 onwards, a four-speed fully synchronized manual transmission with a floor-mounted lever was installed. Examples equipped in this way were mainly exported (Colombian market). Initially, this model was marked with the number 203, but after the protest of the Peugeot company (it had three-digit numbers reserved for the designation of its cars, with a zero in the middle) it was changed to 223.
