Klocki Trabant 601 Deluxe KER 53002 - description
The model at a scale of 1:35 consists of 71 COBI building blocks and very faithfully reflects the characteristic shapes of the original Trabant 601. The car has been developed in a new light blue color of the blocks, which is even closer to the iconic original! The car has rotating wheels equipped with tires that are perfect for moving the model during play. In our sets, we have eliminated stickers! They have been replaced with durable prints that do not wear off even during intense play. The block car is a product for both demanding collectors and young enthusiasts of classic motoring! Thanks to the simple and intuitive instructions, building is straightforward and poses no problems for anyone! The Trabant is a brand of passenger cars produced in the GDR at the VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke complex in Zwickau. The 601 model debuted on the market in 1964 and was produced until 1990. The De Luxe version was developed in 1967. Several technically interesting solutions were used in Trabant cars. These included, among others, a body made of a plastic called duroplast. It was characterized by a melting point similar to aluminum and increased the car's resistance to corrosion and crushing. Other noteworthy solutions include a small displacement two-stroke engine, large windows, and a relatively spacious interior. The car achieved a stunning speed slightly exceeding 100 km/h. The Trabant has earned the title of an iconic car from the German Democratic Republic. To this day, it remains a recognizable and extremely popular classic among automotive enthusiasts. It has also permanently etched itself into mass culture.
