The PoE Switch TL-SF1008P features 8 RJ45 ports with speeds of 10/100 Mb/s requiring no configuration. 4 of them (1-4) support the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. The switch automatically detects PD devices operating under the IEEE 802.3af standard and supplies them with power. This allows for extending network coverage in locations where there is no access to sockets or power lines, where there is a need to place access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc. The switch has a prioritization feature that secures the system during overload situations. The power consumption for devices powered via PoE is up to 57 W. Devices connected to the ports with higher priority are powered first. Port priorities: port-1>port-2>port-3>port-4. This feature protects the system during overload moments. For example, ports 1, 2, and 4 consume 15.4 W each (the maximum value for a port is 15.4 W), then the system uses 46.2 W (the PoE LED indicator will light up red). If a device consuming 12W is connected to port 3, the system will cut off the power from port 4. Port 1 and 2 will thus be powered with 15.4 W, port 3 - 12 W, while port 4 will be disconnected from power. The TL-SF1008P switch is easy to install and operate.
