Pyrometer. Instrument for temperature measurement - description
The temperature measuring instrument (pyrometer) NEO (ref. no. 75-275) is used to measure the surface temperature of objects with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%+1.5 °C in the range of -50 400 °C. It can be used to estimate the temperature of various, hot, dangerous, or hard-to-reach objects without contact. This device consists of optics, temperature sensor, which includes a signal amplifier, processing circuit, and an LCD display. The optics collects the infrared energy emitted by the object and focuses it on the sensor. The sensor converts the energy into an electrical signal, which is displayed as a digital reading. The device operates without contact. Measurement is done in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and its result is displayed on a color LCD. The pyrometer is powered by two AAA batteries. The device is not a medical product.
