The PS2 adapter is HDMI. The adapter allows you to connect the Sony Playstation 2 console to a TV (receiver) with an HDMI port. The device upscales the video signal from the PS2 console to Full HD (1080p) resolution. An additional 3.5 mm mini-jack socket allows you to connect additional speakers or a soundbar. This allows you to play PS2 on modern TVs. The adapter does not require drivers (Plug & Play). A constant 5V USB power supply is required for operation (using the included mini-USB cable).
