Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger Ausf. E
The Pz.Kpfw. VI "Tiger" with the side number 114, which is located in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France, is one of the most valuable exhibits of this museum. Tiger tanks were one of the most famous and dangerous armored machines used by Germany during World War II. They became famous for their powerful armament, especially the 88 mm gun, and thick armored cover. This particular example, marked with the number 114, is one of the few surviving in the world, which makes it extremely valuable both historically and technologically. This tank took part in the fighting and was captured by the Allies. After repairs, he began service in the French army under the name "Bretagne". It is currently undergoing renovation and will soon return to the exhibition and will be used during dynamic shows in the field!
The detailed model was designed in 1:35 scale using 870 elements and is 25 cm long. Under the service hatch you will find a removable block model of the Maybach HL 210 engine! The model offers many construction and play options! You can choose whether your vehicle has German or French (Bretagne) markings.
The turret has the tactical number "114" The features of the model are: a removable brick replica of the engine, working tracked traction, a gun that can be moved up and down and a rotating turret. Figurines can be placed in the opening hatches. The set also includes detailed figures of German and French tankers. The German tanker is dressed in a special camouflage suit, and the Frenchman is dressed in a classic tank suit with a beret. Both figures have attractive accessories, such as binoculars, a wrench and a canister.
The Tiger I is a German heavy tank from World War II. It was one of the most powerful armored vehicles of its era. Designed by Henschel since the 1930s, it went into production in 1942. The Tiger I was known for its powerful armament, which was the 88 mm KwK 36 gun, and strong armor that provided excellent protection.
