A cooperative card game about developing rural areas. Players must collaborate to create the largest breeding areas, orchards, cornfields, or vineyards and complete special tasks. In each game, 3 out of 18 tasks are used, allowing for over 800 possible scoring combinations. On their turn, a player adds one card from their hand to the terrain, trying to earn as many points as possible for the team. Players must communicate with each other and jointly plan the development based on what they have in hand. Points are earned for building the largest areas of a given type and for completing special tasks. In each game, 3 out of 18 tasks are used, ensuring that each session will require individual and unique strategies. The Planner expansion allows you to combine Rancher with the game Urban Planner, while the Useful Locations and Invasion expansions add new rules to the gameplay.
