Halloween is an addition to Monsters in Tokyo, the cult board game by Richard Garfield, the author of such collectible titles as Android: Netrunner and Magic: The Gathering. This time, the ghost night has come to the capital of Japan! Who will turn out to be more terrible in this competition? The expansion introduces two new monsters to the game: the nightmarish Pumpkin Jack and the terrifying Boogie Woogie, as well as a new card type, Costumes. By wearing the Costume, we will gain new possibilities, but we must take into account the fact that another player can steal it from us at any time! Halloween is completely compatible with all other Monsters in Tokyo expansions. If you already have Monsters in Tokyo: Power Up! Boosted, we will be able to take advantage of the unique Evolutions of two new monsters. Plus, these Evolutions introduce a new type of Evolved Gifted that we'll be playing with other players!

To be like a princess
In the new expansion you will find 12 Costume cards: Princess, Zombie, Vampire or Clown. At the beginning of the game, each of you will receive two Costumes, from which you will choose one and shuffle the other into a deck of basic cards. We hold the costume in front of us, using its effect, but we can lose it at any time if another player rolls three Paw symbols and then pays us the equivalent of the Costume in energy. We can use many Costumes at the same time!
A gift for you!
Evolved Gift is a new type of Evolution that we'll be playing against other players. However, no one will be happy with such a gift! Gifted Evolutions are harmful to the one who received them, often benefiting their owners Pumpkin Jack and Boogie Woogie. We can get rid of such an Evolution by dealing damage to another player. That way, horrible gifts will be constantly circulating on the table!
