Dive into the depths of the ocean, where an amazing ecosystem of coral reefs has developed. Expand coral formations and create an environment friendly to numerous marine creatures.
In Aqua, each participant creates an underwater world inhabited by colonies of corals. By nurturing diversely colonized habitats, players strive to create ideal conditions that attract both small aquatic creatures and larger animals that inhabit the ocean depths.
How does it work?
Gameplay consists of 17 rounds, during which we take turns playing. A single turn consists of 3 phases:

- Cultivating corals. The player takes a coral tile from the general pool and places it in their game area. At least one side of the new tile must match the color of another tile already owned.
- Creating habitats and reefs. While cultivating corals, we must focus primarily on grouping them into habitats (regular hexagons made up of 3 areas of the same color) and reefs (clusters of at least 4 adjacent corals of the same color). If the player creates a habitat, it immediately attracts small animals.
- Establishing biodiversity. If the player has established biodiversity, they can attract large animals. This point is not mandatory, and its use should be best adapted to our strategy.

The game comes to an end when the coral tiles are exhausted and a general pool cannot be formed. The winner is the one who manages to grow the most impressive coral formations and attract the most small and large marine animals.
