The ASR series antennas are equipped with a built-in PAD preamplifier. Purchase of a new one is only required in the event of original damage. The PAD-820 preamplifier is designed for use only in ASR antennas. The device is powered via a coaxial cable from the output side. Due to the wide range of permissible supply voltages of 5-12V, the amplifier can be powered: directly from a tuner or TV (the above devices must be able to display DC 5V), or through an external power separator (with a power supply) of the ZZA-7 type.
