Preparation:
- Scan the QR code, download Smart Life and install it on your phone.
- You can also download the Smart Life app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Make sure your phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz).
- Plug the WiFi Smart Power Strip into a power outlet.
- The blue LED flashes. If not flashing, press the "Power On" button for about 5 seconds to restore factory settings.
Adding devices to the Smart Life app
- Open the Smart Life app, click the "+" button in the right corner, and select "Power Strip" under the "Electrical" category.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. NOTE: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and only the 2.4 GHz network on your router.
- Once the device is successfully set up, go to Device Control, click on the pencil in the right corner and give the device any name you want.
- You can then press any switch and configure it to your liking. The application provides several configuration options, e.g.:
- Countdown: set the desired time from which the selected socket should turn on
- Schedule: create a weekly schedule for switching the selected socket on and off
- Random: create a random time to turn on and off for selected days
How to use Amazon Echos to control smart devices:
- Open the Amazon Alexa app, find the "Skill" button in the menu and press it.
- Look for the Smart Life app and activate it
- Select the country code, enter the "Smart Life App" account and password, and then press
- "Link now" button. Once you have successfully logged in to your account, press the "Done" button.
- Go back to the menu and press the "Smart Home" button, then select "Devices" and press the "Discover" button
- Now you can use Alexa to control your smart devices
