The WPW plug is designed for detachable, multiple connections of coaxial high-frequency (RF) cables to electronic devices equipped with IEC sockets, e.g. subscriber sockets, television receivers, audio-video modulators, etc. The plug is adapted for cables with an outer diameter of 6.6 - 7.2 mm with a central conductor made of wire. The body of the plug is cast from light metal alloys, providing great mechanical stability and very good shielding. The coaxial cable is screwed into the threaded opening of the housing, with the braid unwound onto its outer jacket. The connection of the plug to the inner conductor occurs automatically (pressure mechanism) without soldering. Plug connectors are offered in two versions - WPW as the "IEC" - "male" plug and WPG as the "IEC" - "female" plug. Key information:
