The presence of LTE transmission on the frequency of 800 MHz can negatively impact the quality of the DVB-T signal due to an excessively strong signal causing interference and disrupting the proper reception of terrestrial digital television. Under such conditions, individual incorrect pixels or distortions of a significant part of the image, as well as sound, will appear on the television screen. The stronger the interference, the more frequently the picture will become "frozen" or even completely disappear from the receiver's screen. Such problems will occur suddenly, even with a slight deterioration in the reception conditions of the DVB-T signal. We can effectively combat interference from the LTE 800 MHZ network using so-called LTE filters. This filter effectively suppresses signals from 790 MHZ to 862 MHZ, which is the full range in which LTE 800 MHZ falls. A better solution is to use external directional antennas with a built-in LTE filter. The new series of BLOW antennas is equipped with an LTE filter that allows for the elimination of interference of the terrestrial digital television signal coming from transmitters or devices using LTE technology. This is ensured by the implemented SMT 4G PROTECT circuit that effectively protects against interfering interference.
