This is a hand-knitted Bijar carpet made of durable, natural materials.
The way it is knitted and the variety in the patterns makes this rug unique and emphasizes its authentic and traditional character.
Bidjar is located in the west of Iran.
Bidjar carpets are designed to be used with or without medallion, that is Herati pattern.
They are made of high quality wool on cotton chain (bobbin thread), often they are thick and compact.
That is why Bidjar carpets are excellent for regular use with an extremely high durability.
In later years these carpets have been called Indo Bidjar.
Condition: Magnificent, practically new, as new.
