Use the raclette set in the traditional way: Noble, ripe cheese should be melted and covered with a baguette, potatoes or meat. For this, the cheese is placed directly on the surface of the grill and positioned under a heater with a power of 1000 watts. By adjusting the height, it is easy to determine how quickly the hot cheese will acquire a creamy consistency. The cheese holder can be tilted to the side, as well as tilted horizontally so that it is easy to separate on the plates. Power is regulated by an integrated knob with a thermostat - those who prefer cheese a little darker should set the temperature to a higher level.
In addition to the traditional raclette for cheese specialties, Appenzell Peak also offers the possibility of using the grill on top of the device. Here you can easily grill meat or vegetables, perfectly matching the melted cheese.
