The parking sensor is a device that assists in parking and reversing a vehicle. It operates on the sonar principle - emitting ultrasonic waves that reflect off obstacles and allow determination of the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle. During reversing, the device accurately identifies obstacles in the vehicle's path and warns the driver with audible signals. The LED display indicates the distance to the obstacle with accuracy to tenths of a meter. It also features a built-in speaker (buzzer), alerting with the capability of complete muting via a switch on the housing.
